Established in 1946, Jones & Greathouse, CPA's
is a full-service public accounting firm with a long tradition of
providing service to Mattoon, Illinois and the surrounding communities.
The firm's objective continues to be the building of long-term client
relationships through personal service of the highest quality. Our
founder, Gordon Jones, was the first licensed public accountant in
Coles County, and served the community until his death in 1994. He is
credited with declaring that he was a public accountant in Coles County
before Coles County knew it needed public accountants. That same
pioneer spirit is alive in the present partners and staff, who believe
finding innovative solutions for our clients' business problems is
still the cornerstone of a public accounting firm.
